厭世的英文怎麼說
Cynical、Misanthropic、Nihilistic 等「厭世系」詞彙的差異與日常用法
「厭世」在中文是一個很寬的概念，但在英文中有不同程度和面向的詞彙。以下從最常見到最極端排列。
Cynical — 憤世嫉俗的##
對人的動機抱持懷疑態度，認為人們都是自私的。這是日常對話中最常用的「厭世」詞彙。
She’s become really cynical about politics after the scandal. 醜聞之後她對政治變得很憤世嫉俗。
Don’t be so cynical — not everyone is trying to scam you. 別這麼多疑 — 不是每個人都想騙你。

Tip
Cynical 是最安全的選擇。在日常英文中說 “I’m feeling cynical” 就等於中文的「我覺得很厭世」，不會太重。
Pessimistic — 悲觀的##
傾向預期壞的結果。比 cynical 更中性，焦點在「對未來的看法」而不是「對人的不信任」。
I’m pessimistic about the economy this year. 我對今年的經濟很悲觀。
She has a pessimistic outlook on life. 她對人生持悲觀態度。

Jaded — 疲乏的、麻木的##
因為經歷太多而對事物失去熱情。強調的是「曾經在乎，但現在不了」。
After ten years in the industry, he’s completely jaded. 在業界待了十年，他已經完全麻木了。
I’m too jaded to get excited about another startup pitch. 我已經聽太多 startup pitch，提不起興趣了。
Note
Jaded 帶有「曾經年輕熱血，現在看透了」的語感。很適合形容對工作或感情失去熱情的狀態。
Disillusioned — 幻滅的##
發現現實與期待不符後感到失望。比 jaded 更具體 — 有一個明確的「期望被打破」的轉折。
Many young voters feel disillusioned with the democratic process. 許多年輕選民對民主程序感到幻滅。
He became disillusioned after realizing his mentor had lied. 他發現導師說謊後感到幻滅。

Misanthropic — 厭惡人類的##
字面意思就是「討厭人類」（希臘語 misos = 恨，anthropos = 人）。這是比 cynical 更極端的用法。
He lives alone in the mountains — he’s become quite misanthropic. 他獨自住在山上 — 變得相當厭惡人群。
The novel’s protagonist is a misanthrope who avoids all social contact. 小說的主角是個迴避所有社交的厭世者。

Warning
日常對話中很少用 misanthropic，語氣偏重且文學化。除非你真的在形容一個「完全不想跟人類來往」的人。
Nihilistic — 虛無主義的##
認為人生沒有意義、道德沒有根基、一切都無所謂。這是哲學層面的「厭世」。
His worldview is deeply nihilistic — he doesn’t believe in anything. 他的世界觀極度虛無 — 他什麼都不相信。
That’s a very nihilistic take. You okay? 這想法也太虛無了吧。你還好嗎？

Apathetic — 冷漠的、無感的##
對什麼都不關心，沒有情緒反應。跟「厭世」不太一樣 — 厭世是有情緒的（厭惡），apathetic 是連情緒都沒有。

I’m not angry, I’m just apathetic at this point. 我不是生氣，我只是已經無感了。
